YouTube: The Voice of the People

Every now and then I like to look at YouTube and see what the people of the world have to say about The Teenagers' video "Love No". Most of the comments are weird:

Even on the anonymous internet my orientation is called into question.

Sure, I'll do birthday parties, bar mitzvahs, civil unions, and retirement parties. Cost of my appearance does not cover the cost of (soy) ice cream.

Aw shucks. I hope I do not become typecast as "the boy with the lollipop".

The best thing about the video was going to NY and rollerskating all day.

Philly Phasion Overseas

SPOTTED: Quentin sporting a Philadelphia t-shirt at the Teenagers prom with a clown or something. I donno, I don't pretend to understand hipster Brits.

Either way, I feel like wearing a Philadelphia t-shirt over in England would be the equivalent of wearing a t-shirt from Bath or Coventry. I'm not sure what the equivalent to Philly would be over there. It would have to be near London ( a la Philly to New York ) yet dirty and SORT of Historical.

The Teenagers will be coming to Philly May 9th to buy more souvenirs and maybe play some music. Make sure you go and make sure its a good time because (insider information!!!): Their last show in Philly was not wildly awesome.

Well!

The video has unofficially been released and I think it came out very nicely.

And So It Was

The video shoot had everything it promised it would:

-- The Teenagers
-- Rollerskating
-- Ice cream
-- Mackin' it
-- Good times

In addition to that, there were:

-- Red velvet couches
-- Craft services
-- Cute cats
-- Japanese make-up artist
-- Name-dropping

All in all it was a neat day. I'm really tired still and I do not know when the video will be out but you can be sure I will keep you posted.

MTV Here I Come

Okay, so as some of you may know, 'The Teenagers' put out an open casting call for 5 boys and 5 girls for their next video.

I thought "what the heck" and submitted a photo last night around 5:00 and BAM, today around 3:00, I got a call back.

Not just a call back, but a confirmation.

So in conclusion, I am going to be "rollerskating, eating ice cream, and making out with attractive strangers" on Sunday.
