Hey-o.
Going-away party was a big success. Friends and family blended smoothly. Food was delicious.
I've been in Philly since yesterday and now I am still here for my final night.
Still need to pack, print out stuff, and get a converter.
Hi-yo.
Goodnight.

Dear Readers,

It's the weekend again, and you know what that means...
Time for me to travel by car, train, Bieber bus, subway, and my dad's Volkswagen van all over the Tri-State area.
This weekend's trip covers the following:
Philly, Brklyn / Mnhttn, Japanese consulate, anddd even a little stop in Delaware to visit my dad.
It's gonna be nuts! Unfortunately for you, I have no idea when I'm going to return and this week sucked as far as me updating soooo I had to do this, but I'm gonna have to give you silly scheduled posting for awhile.

Gah, It's just like... Europeans are so much Classier
I went on a super-secret trip to Philadelphia today.Spending a mere two hours in the city.
While there, I stopped in Retrospect which is the city's resident semi-expensive 'vintage' store where the undergrounder-than-thou employees lounge aloofly behind the counter sporting nice haircuts and fun tight pants.
I overheard the one cashier spouting off about how much classier Europe is and how you'll never see anyone overweight and everyone is dressed nice and blah blah blah.
I found it all very humorous.
He also said you never see anyone in sweatpants. I have to agree that one rarely sees anyone sporting sweatpants but it's actually way worse in Europe because all the trashy people were velour track suits with like... rhinestone detailing.
I donno which is worse: Not caring about your appearance and looking like you should be at the gym or really putting effort into your appearance and ending up looking like the former.
YOU DECIDE hexpatriates of America.
Other Philly Highlights:
-- Making my mom laugh on the car ride there causing her to spit out coffee all over her white shorts
-- The 'costumes' the American Apparel employees were sporting
-- Food poisoning ( I think someone sprinkled parm. cheese on my fries )
-- Buying a vegan baking book
-- Singing Miley Cyrus and Connie Francis with momma
-- Puppy watching in Rittenhouse
And many more!

Bye Bye Barcey
Well today was my last day of vacation and fun in Barcelona. It was low-key but really nice.
I'm just going to copy what I wrote in my Barcelona Journal that I got at Dick Blick for $1.00.
On my last full day, Jen, Max, Yasmin and I unsuccessfully tried to scale this really tall mountain. We even waited for the trolley but he told it was closed.
We still trekked upwards but some people told us the "mountain resort" was "cerrado".
Beforehand, we went to a vegetarian buffet that Max discovered. The owner was super nice and the food was super delicious.
I had two peices of eggplant lasagna, two flans, two double espressos, three falafel-esque balls, and a myriad of other delicious things. Oh, and a Earl Grey (my favorite Earl next to Earl of Sandwich and the seventh Earl of Cardigan).
Later, Yasmin went to meet up with Jimmy and we explored a ghetto park that had the sound of a kennel all throughout.
We later went to La Rambla and stalked this couple that I liked but we lost them. Funny enough, two hours later I was searching for this nice shopping district and I found them sitting in a restaurant in the area that we lost them. Weird! (especially on my part).
Jen and Max headed home and I decided to stay out in the city. I had to go to the bathroom so I fled to the McDonalds (Starbucks was closed). Nobody was in there when I went in and then it filled up with like 30 German teens. Grossie.
Also, most of the bathrooms here have a common room and then separate stalls for women and men. It's awkward sometimes.
I wrote this in a square courtyard type of deal. Last night we went to two bars and a tango club.
The club was nights! We had to ring this buzzer for this apartment building, and then we were buzzed in and walked up some flights of stairs. A bouncer greeted us at this one door and let us into an apartment that was converted into a club with a dance room, a bar, and a pool table. It was crazyyy.
Later, we sat outside a mean bar and hung out with three Italians and two teenagers from PA.
It was a grreat trip, but I am basically ready to come back to Philly now.
Also, I do not know what to blog about anymore.
Nice!
Ten hour plane ride ahoy.

Yikes my Bikes
The title is borrowed from a saying my friend used to say and this video is lifted from a MySpace bulletin I saw this evening.
Warning, this video may make you crave warm weather.
Also, I find the video humorous.
Enjoy
P.S. I officially bought my ticket to Barcelona. We have an eight hour layover in HOTlanta so if anyone knows of anything fun to do in that city, let me know. We'll probably just end up hanging with Nelly.
